Mission Statement
The mission of DivorceDoneRight is to help parents and children achieve a Successful Divorce™ with less pain, less acrimony and less expense than is typical in a litigated divorce. By educating couples and bringing them into the mediation process, families can work through the conflicts that are usually exacerbated by divorce litigation, and parents can make decisions in a way that best serves their family's interests. "ResolutionRepresentation™" will be a resolution-oriented alternative for those couples that cannot agree to proceed with mediation. DivorceDoneRight will help to preserve harmony, preserve peace between parents and their children, and preserve financial resources for all of their futures.
Our Founder
For most of the past two decades, Jon Ostroff, Founder of DivorceDoneRight, has started and successfully grown a few law firms, handled many high-profile cases, and volunteered his time for a number of causes. By all accounts, he has had a distinguished and successful legal career.
Then he fell prey to a growing trend in America...divorce.
After overcoming the struggles of his divorce, Jon felt compelled to use his experience in a positive way, as an incentive to offer other divorcing couples an opportunity to reduce the heartbreak and limbo that have become so common in many divorces.
Regrettably, about one out of two American marriages ends in divorce. Incredibly, thought Jon, while the culture of marriage and divorce has changed significantly, the divorce process has not.
"I've spent my career as an Attorney and Advocate committed to all that it took for me to help the side I was on succeed. Then, my world changed as a result of a contentious, 2 1/2-year divorce that finally ended after less than two months of mediation. After that, I was ready for a new challenge. Now, with DivorceDoneRight, my goal is to help both sides win, resolving their divorce in a less painful, less contentious and less expensive way. I know in my heart that many families will benefit from what we're doing."
DivorceDoneRight was born.
DivorceDoneRight helps divorcing couples achieve greater clarity and better decisions in less time than they otherwise might. You could say Jon’s greatest satisfaction is putting divorcing parties on the same page – and turning that page into a Settlement Agreement.

DivorceDoneRight Mediators include lawyers and mental health professionals who are experienced practitioners in the mediation process. They train others to mediate, teach mediation courses in our law schools, have received distinguished awards and recognition from their peers, hold leadership positions in Pennsylvania or national mediation organizations, and, for years, have received family mediation referrals from judges, lawyers, mental health professionals, and court-sponsored programs throughout the Delaware Valley.
